Textures in light and shadow make up this image. The shadow gives depth looking like a cavity on the surface. The light makes curving shapes on the otherwise straight vertical lines of the subject. We’re looking at a tree trunk with just a hint of the forest behind it. I think this could be called abstract art that would look good printed and displayed where it would provide contrast to other images that are non-abstract subject matter.
