Get on down that road. But don’t worry about time or when whatever. Use your time. It’s really all there is. I know. Getting all philosophical here where we all know this is nothing but a photography blog. This dirt road in Boulder County was my daily. Get on down the road.

That is why we’re having a moment here.

Road, pike, lane, way, boulevard, ally, avenue, street, drive art since the first stone was cobbled. Symmetric perspective pulling the eye towards the vanishing point. In winter.

It’s often a road construction up ahead that’s closing a lane for a ten-mile stretch. Summer is road construction season.

The sun always on the wrong side of the arch for photography when I approached it. Early in the morning driving east and late in the day driving west. Clouds or trucks. Keep on truckin. Wheels turning moving forward. All across this great country. We do our part. Help one another to help ourselves. Give thanks and show gratitude for the love we share.

Go your own road. Get there when you can. Hopefully they will understand.

On the road of life in the dark in the rain travelling at speed I hit a pothole that flattened my tire and bent my wheel. It’s the kind of thing that can happen on the road of life.

The radio’s playin some forgotten song. Brenda Lee’s coming on strong. The road has got me hypnotized and I’m speeding on into a nude sunrise.

We’ll be seein ya up the road a ways. Be well and take care.

The long and winding road that leads to your door will never disappear I’ve seen that road before it always leads me here lead me to your door. Still they lead me back to the long and winding road.

The world outside my door is largely a mystery to me. I’ve explored a few states and a couple countries but most of it only exists in pictures to me. The pictures of the world that other photographers make provide inspiration to me to expand my world.

I took photography class in high school. Taught by Mr. Johnson. Tall flamboyant man with bushy hair and long beard. He also taught history of the American west and others. Photography was Johnson’s class.
