The blue deck

this coachwork is so well done that it deserves more than a single image and this quad view lets you take it all in

On the west side of Indianapolis, at the 20th annual Slamology show at Indianapolis Raceway Park a Peterbilt 379 with a blue drivers deck was on display at the big rig show. I was at the show to make some art of the brilliant paint jobs on inspired vehicles that were parked on display in the late evening sunshine.

I had to hold my camera above my head, arms outstretched to get a picture of the inside of the cab. The dashboard, steering wheel, and control center. It was a challenge, but I wanted to capture a sense of the detail and quality that went into this build.

Back home, using Gimp photo editor, I merged four mirrored images together, forming a kaleidoscope-like view of the customized truck cab. The result is this image which I really get a kick out of viewing. I think this coachwork is so well done that it deserves more than a single image and this quad view lets you take it all in.

I think this image celebrates the spirit of Slamology, where vehicle enthusiasts and creative minds converge to show off the results of their imagination and customization.

With this image I help share the story of this custom Peterbilt 379 truck and invite others to experience the custom works on display at the Slamology show.
