Garden still life shot from yesterday but this one processed with a mosaic filter applied to it. The mosaic filter tool has controls for tile size and depth, direction of light source and color of grout lines. When using mosaic, I’ll test different sizes of tiles and direction of light source to see if the filter is a good fit for the image. In this case I am most happy with how the dark background took the light from upper left and how the orange flowers took the tiles. Photography is so ubiquitous it might not be easy to find anything special about it. I strive to create images that I enjoy looking at and I’m inspired by so many others many whom produce images that show how special photography can be.
