The surfer

When I make an image where the horizon is clearly visible, it’s important to me that the horizon is level in the published image. Our cameras have a level indicator to help get it square on image capture, but oftentimes for me anyway, the captured image ends up slightly off. When I edit an image, I’ll rotate it a few degrees plus or minus to make the horizon level in the final image file. I love how this picture shows four conditions of the Atlantic. Calm sea out in the distance, waves forming near the beach, waves crashing on the beach, and finally the foam that looks like snow piled up on shore. A lone surfer having a day.
