Birthday party today and another birthday party next week. One is turning nine the other turns ten. I can almost take myself back to when I was nine and then ten. I see my room, my family, friend down the street, my school classroom. I had a radio. These kids have phones. I had favorite songs and would stop to listen to them when they came on the radio. There was a song about clouds. Not my favorite but mom liked it. It’s all illusion after all.
