First day flying

The flag was new. I waited until after noon on Memorial Day to display it for the first time. Dad had died two days prior, and I was feeling reverent and respectful. The flag is faded now with a bit of wear evident around the edges. I’ve added a longer pole to it, so it clears the roof completely allowing it to fly more freely. This coming summer will be four years since Dad has been gone. I’ve been thinking about replacing the flag with a new one. We’ll see.
