family on the beach sisters and brothers troubles out of reach
new life new home kitty moved in
to be a bird sings the oriole nature’s choice heard
prepare the chopper rotors check engine go tales of long ago
returned to rest on safe earth landing though not the best
in the driving seat wheels turned west skipping gears she did her best
baskets full their time comes morning’s red sun
it wants to burn put on the logs watch it though because it burns
dog watched from his bed there shall come a day he said from the voice inside my head
older than we by the sea her and me
made a pact matter of fact look for yourself
around our earth ahead of sunrise believing the sun
wander on the beach play beside the sea happy as can be
sea breezes both wild and calm easy to see
blackbird sat three blackbirds for blackbirds
splash fight bright day water and dance
watch me swim water my friend today is like that
i should mention small achievement because i like to hear it
let me rest this was blest with cheers
life well-lived the summer days i thought
in the cloud with colored frogs timestamped logs
a second chance full of gratitude says the alligator
to garden underneath the sun i will go on
didn’t expect a clue turn up wherever they may disguised that day
among blooms i saw and gazed
clear cool placid pool danger rests
down drifts white and blue through the trees
gentle water flow tinkling fall like water
jostle each other pouring rain westbound train
i say eyes tell i smile
