For several days a bat and a moth living together in the space between the brick wall and the porch light. They spent the entire days attached to the wall very close to one another and then at night flew off to the unknown but returning to their space in the morning. This went on for three days once we noticed them there. Us being us we thought maybe it’s not a great idea to let the bat live next to the front door so last night I watched as bat and moth flew away together as dusk turned to dark then I put folded up cardboard in the space to block them from nesting there again. This morning I looked and sure enough, no bat and no moth. A tiny bit sad because I enjoyed the sight of those two sharing company so close to me for three days and wondering where they are resting together today.
