I’m making art from her flower garden. We have had mild weather in a way that is to the garden’s liking. This results in plants that seem happy in how they produce bloom after bloom.
The birds, bees and all manner of creatures seem to like it as much as I do. I like the morning light for making pictures. 8:30 to 9:30 is my favorite time to walk the garden with my camera. For some of the images I like to leave them as the camera made them. But mostly I like to break down the image with an oil and water color filter to give the final image a less than perfect look. I like this the best for pictures of flowers.
